PURPOSE: To prevent unnecessary vibration of a cage in a ball bearing device and deflection from the ordinary motional passage by tightly shutting a ball in a small number of guide pockets in a cage. CONSTITUTION: This ball bearing device is formed in an almost annular ring shape, and is composed of an outer race 12 for rolling a ball 18 on a surface of an inner race 14. A cage 16 cannot move at random in the unnecessary direction by tightly restricting the cage 16 to the ball 18. Motion of the ball in a pocket 22 becomes free by enlarging clearance C" of the large ball pocket 22. When the ball 18 collides with the edge of the pocket 22 when the outer race of the bearing device 10 rotates, the cage 16 is prevented from reacting by losing stability still in an uncontrolled state by tight restriction on the cage 16 by the ball 18.
