摘要

PURPOSE: To prevent a vehicle which is steered with two or four wheels by hydraulic power from recovering to two-wheel steering when it is four-wheel steered because of stop of electric signals due to parking or the like. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle has as least two pairs of ground engaging wheels and can alternatively be steered with two or four wheels. Steering mode is determined according to the state of a steering mode selector valve means. The valve means has a first operating condition for simple steering mode effected solely by the first pair of wheels 11 and 12 and a second operating condition for compound steering effected by the first and second pairs of wheels. The first or second operating condition P1 or P2 of the steering mode selecting valve means is maintained until it receives a signal generated from a controlling means for changing the operating condition.
