PURPOSE:To reduce the total calculating quantity and shorten the calculating time to give an ambience to the competitive state of a game, in a competitive type computer simulation game, by batch-calculating the modeling of each character. CONSTITUTION:The data for position, direction and state of all characters at a certain point of a competition are stored in a game state memory means 1, an absolute position calculating means 2 calculates the background from the view point of each character and records the background data in a background memory means 3. A relative position calculating means 4 calculates the appearance of a character Y from the view point of a character X for every combination between the character X and the character Y and records it in a relative data recording means 5. A composing means 6 composes the appearance of the character Y from the viewpoint of the character X on the background data for the character X and records it in a composition data recording means 7. A display means 8 displays the composition data to respective corresponding pictures. |
