PURPOSE:To provide a fan device which can favorably enhance the cooling effect of the viscous fluid of a fluid coupling. CONSTITUTION:When an internal combustion engine rotates a driving shaft 1 and a rotor 20, a casing 22 rotates interlockingly due to associated turning of a viscous fluid W in labyrinth grooves 31, 32, which causes rotating of a fan 6 and generates wind blowing. It is likely that the centrifugal force causes movement of the viscous fluid W at a high temp. to the peripheral region of a fluid chamber 28. Because an outer fin group 7 is provided at the peripheral region of the facade wall 22a of the casing 22, heat radiation is made effectively even from the peripheral region of this casing front wall 22a. Because the root 7f of the outer fan group 7 is retracted back more than the root 4f of the central fan group 4 in the direction of arrow X, the air stream is easier to run in the direction of arrow Y1 so that wind guidance is made effectively from the central fan group 4 to the outer fan group 7, so that the heat radiating effect from the peripheral region of the casing 22 can be ensured in better performance. |
