PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition improved in heat and impact resistances as compared with a conventional styrenic resin by mixing an aromatic polyester with a styrenic resin, an aromatic polycarbonate and polycaprolactone in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic polyester (A) (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) is mixed with a styrenic resin (B) which is a polymer essentially consisting of an aromatic vinyl compound such as styrene, such as a homopolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound, a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound with another copolymerizable compound, a graft copolymer prepared by grafting in the presence of a rubbery polymer or a mixture thereof, an aromatic polycarbonate (C) (of a viscosity-average molecular weight of 20000-30000) and polycaprolactone (D). The amounts of components A, B, C and D added are 10-90 pts.wt., 90-10 pts.wt., 0.5-20 pts.wt. and 0.2-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. total of A and B, respectively. These components are mixed with each other in known mixer. |
