PURPOSE:To prevent water from entering an engine, even if a hull is turned over to either side, regarding a relatively small hull structure. CONSTITUTION:A V-type engine 1 with a pair of right and left cylinder trains (bank 12) is installed on a hull 100, and exhaust pipes 31 and 32 led from each cylinder train are extended to a stern hull approximately along a ship's center line in such a way as close to each other. Then, the pipes 31 and 32 are connected and kept open to a propeller housing 20, thereby being made open overboard.
