PURPOSE:To allow pressure to be relieved without any effect upon various factors of gears at the time of depressurization in a power steering device where hydraulic pressure assisting action of a powercylinder is caused to be lowered at the time of turning a steering wheel to an allowable steering limit angle. CONSTITUTION:A threaded section 27 is formed on the outer surface of an input shaft 2, and an end detection ring 28 is screwed to the section 27 is such a way as to be slidable but incapable of turning in the axial direction of the shaft 2. A cam section 30 having a tapered surface is provided at both ends of the external surface of the ring 28. Also, a housing 1 is provided with a bypass passage 41 bypassing a feed port 15 and an exhaust port 25 for supplying and delivering the pressure oil of a servo valve 7. In addition, a valve cylinder 33 and a spool valve 32 with a ball 35 fixed as a cam follower are provided in the bypass passage 41. |
