PURPOSE:To prevent holding pieces from deforming even though intensified acceleration is applied to a fuel oil tank or a cap by excess shocks produced on an occasion of collision in high-speed travelling or by hitting the cap. CONSTITUTION:An oil supply tube 13 is provided in projection to an oil supply hole 12a formed to a tank body 12, an oil supply port 14 is provided to the front end of the oil supply tube 13 and a plurality of notched parts 21 are formed at equal intervals to a turned-down part 17 formed on the inside of the oil supply port 14. A cap 16, equipped with a plurality of holding pieces 27 that can be inserted through the notched parts 21 and turned for holding the turned-down part 17, is put over the oil supply port 14 so that it can close and open the supply port. A plurality of deformation-preventing devices 32 provided to the underside of the cap 16 are energized by springs 37 so that they can be housed inside the inner circumferential face of the turned-down part 17. In the case where acceleration exceeding a specified value is applied to a fuel oil tank 11, the front ends of the deformation-preventing devices 32 project, resisting against the elasticity of the springs 37, to the inside of the tank body 12 so that they can be held to the circumferential edge of the oil supply hole 12a. |
