PURPOSE:To repair a coating flaw of a synthetic resin-coated steel material under water by so installing an annular case having an annular sealing member as to cover the flaw of the material under water, sucking and draining water, holding negative pressure therein, sucking it and holding it. CONSTITUTION:An annular case 10 having an annular sealing member 13 at peripheral edges of openings of inner and outer chambers 11, 12 is so installed as to cover coated flaw 4 of a synthetic resin-coated steel material 1 under water, brines in the chambers 11, 12 are sucked, drained, negative pressure is held therein, the case 10 is sucked and held to the material 1. Then, cleaning water is discharged to the chamber 11, cleaned, then sucked and drained, and dry air is fed to be dried. A dry detecting sensor 24 is pressed to detect dryness of the flaw 4. When the dryness becomes a predetermined value, a heater 16 is pushed to the flaw 4 together with a repairing synthetic resin sheet 17. A temperature of the heater 15 is regulated by a temperature measuring sensor 25, and the sheet is adhered to a synthetic resin coating 3 around the flaw 4 together with a hole burying material 19. |
