PURPOSE:To provide a device for stopping a specimen container which automatically stops a container for specimen at the mouth and which is small and simple in structure. CONSTITUTION:A device for stopping a specimen container is equipped with elastic sphere-feeding means 1-9 which feeds spheres 2 of elastic material one by one, with sphere-guiding means 5, 11 which leads elastic spheres 2, fed by the elastic sphere-feeding means 1-9, onto the mouth at the top end of a specimen container 10 held at a specified position, and with a pushing means 13 which pushes the elastic spheres 2 one by one, put into the mouth by the sphere- guiding means 5, 11, inward from the mouth to a specified depth under a preset pressure. |
