PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant nonhalogen resin compsn. excellent in flame retardancy and mechanical characteristics. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyolefinc resin not halogenated is compounded with 10-30 pts.wt. carboxylated polyorganosiloxane oil and/or carboxylated polyorganosiloxane resin, 70-200 pts.wt. aluminum and/or magnesium hydroxide, at least 0.1 pt.wt. amino compd. of the general formula: X-Y-NH2-n-Rn (wherein X is vinyl, acrylic, or methacrylic; Y is an org. group consisting of H, C, O, an N; (n) is 0, 1, or 2; and R is alkyl), and an org. peroxide in an amt. of 0.0050-0.2 times the amt. of the amino compd. |
