METHOD FOR FRACTIONATING TRYPTOPHANASE

PURPOSE:To fractionate tryptophanase produced by Escherichia coli. CONSTITUTION:Escherichia coli is cultured and a microbial cell extract solution containing tryptophanase is prepared. Ammonium sulfate is then added to the extract solution to carry out heat treatment. Thereby, the tryptophanase can simply be fractionated in high purity at a high recovery rate.
