<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a piping work of pipe end parts located in a narrow and complicated area by providing a pair of tube flanges and flange joints, and taking measures such as a short tube provided with a tapered cylindrical part is fitted between the tube ends of the tube flanges, etc. CONSTITUTION:A flange joint assembly comprises a pair of tube flanges 10 and flange joints 16. On the tube flanges 10, an inside wrinkle F which forms a bent-back part 13 extending to a flange surface 11 and an annular notch K are provided. Also a tapered hole part 21 which is expanded in an internal conical shape with a small taper angle alpha at the tube end part 20 is located on the flanged joint 16, and its top part 20' is pinched in the center of the wrinkle F and crimped for connection. On the other hand, a short tube 30 is fitted between the tube end parts 20 and therein a tapered cylindrical part 31 provided with a tapered angle alpha' equal to that of the tapered hole section 21 is arranged.
