PURPOSE:To provide an air bag for an assistant's seat which can enhance the strength of the sewed portion at the junction of a bottom wall section and side wall sections, and also can enhance airtightness. CONSTITUTION:An air bag 11 for an assistant's seat is furnished with a bottom wall section 12, a ceiling wall section 13 which is larger than the bottom wall section 12 in area, and with cylindrical side wall sections 14, 15, 16 and 17 which connect the bottom wall section 12 to the ceiling wall section 13, and these sections are sewed up so as to be formed into a bag shape. The bottom wall section 12 is furnished with a circular introduction hole 12a for introducing gas so as to be formed into a circular ring shape where the bottom wall section is sewed up with the respective ends of the side wall sections 14, 15, 16 and 17 along the circular periphery. |
