PURPOSE:To obtain a novel 2-aminoethoxybenzene derivative which can be used as a therapeutic agent for osteoporosis caused by TGF-beta production aciceleration. CONSTITUTION:2-Aminoethoxybenzene derivative of formula I [R<1> is H, halogen, nitro, 1-4 C alkyl, OR (R is H, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl, aralkylcarbonyl); R<2>, R<3> are alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, or they mutually bind to form a 5-7 membered heterocyclic group; X is O, S, CR<4>R<5> (R<4>, R<5> are H, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxy, OH), R<4> and R<5> mutually bind to form methylene or carbonyl oxygen atom] or its medicinally permissible salts, for example, 1-[4-[2-(N-morpholino)ethoxy]-phenyl]-1-phenol-methanol. The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of, for example, a phenolic derivative with a 2-chloroethylamine in the presence of a base. |
