PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording body high in recording sensitivity and capable of obtaining a high quality recording image. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording body built up to a laminate by forming a support as the basis, an undercoat layer containing pigment and adhesive agent and a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and color developing agent in that order, the surface of the support has a Bekk smoothness of 20-80 seconds (per JIS P-8119), the rear surface thereof has a Bekk smoothness of at least 100 seconds and a stockigt sizing degree of at least 15 seconds (per JIS P-8122) and the undercoat layer is formed on the surface of the support by pure blade coating method. |
