The present invention provides a synthetic polypeptide comprising all or a portion of an amino acid sequence selected from (I), or an antigenic fragment, functionally-equivalent variant or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Also provided are nucleic acid molecules encoding such polypeptides, methods for their preparation, vaccine compositions containing them, and their use, both in combatting FIV and in diagnosing FIV infection. |
