PURPOSE:To eliminate damage to a conductor due to soldering thereby to improve the bonding strength of an electrostrictive ceramic member to an external electrode conductor and the reliability of am electrostrictive effect element at the time of vibration by forming a 2-layer structure of a conductive glass film and a conductor film in the electrode conductor. CONSTITUTION:In an electrostrictive effect element, an internal electrode conductor layer 2 is alternately connected at every other layer by conductive glass film 7 and a nickel-plating film 8 to form a pair of pectinated electrodes in an external electrode conductor. Thus, the bonding strength of the conductor to the ceramics is performed by the glass film by employing the 2-layer structure, and since electroless plating film is intruded in a spikelike state to the small uneven surface of the glass film, the bonding strength is increased several times as large as the conventional one. |
