PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material which is manufactured by containing a dispersion dye and a specified substance with low molecular weight in a transcription layer, and which gives on a plastic film a recorded image that are of primary coloring type and are excellent in preservative properties and wear proof. CONSTITUTION:When a transcription sheet is heated by using a heat-sensitive recording head and a transcription layer of the transcription sheet is transcribed to a body to be recorded, the transcription layer is composed of A) a dispersion dye (preferably, azo dye and anthraquinone dye) or a substance manufactured by adding other coloring agents to said dye as necessary, and B) a substance with low molecular weight (preferably, aromatic compound derivatives) with m.p. of 60- 120 deg.C and which has compatibility with the dispersion dyes at temperature not lower than the melting point. The transcription layer is formed on a base sheet, such as, paper, a plastic film, etc. with 10-30mu thickness, preferably in thickness of 1-10mu. |
