PURPOSE:To input numbers of a kind other than the mathematical numbers which are inputted by symbol input before to a text memory with the numeric keys on a keyboard similarly to the input of the mathematical numbers. CONSTITUTION:When a numeric key 7 is operated (S8: Yes) in text input mode, the key code of the input numeric key is converted into code data of the mathematical numbers first and the kind of the number inputted to the text memory is judged (S6 and S9 from the setting state of a mathematical number flag TF, a KANJI(Chinese character) number flag KF, and a Roman number flag RF; when the set number kind is not the mathematical numbers, respective tables are selected to read code data in, and they are inputted to the text memory (S10, S14, S11, and S12). |
