PURPOSE:To provide an anechoic enclosure wherein radio wave absorption characteristic is improved and adjusted readily without modifying a radio wave absorber, etc. CONSTITUTION:At least one wave absorber 5 of the wave absorbers 5 to be attached to an inner surface of an anechoic enclosure 1 is constituted of at least one layer of a cloth-like wave loss material 12 and is attached to enable adjustment of a distance from the inner surface. It is desirable to attach the cloth-like wave loss material 12 removably. It is also desirable to insert a cloth- like dielectric material between the cloth-like wave loss material 12 and the inner surface or between the cloth-like wave loss materials 12. It is desirable to make the cloth-like wave loss material 12 and the cloth-like dielectric material foldable. Since the cloth-like wave loss material 12 is arranged in layers and a wave absorber is thereby formed, wave characteristic can be readily adjusted by adjustment of the number of layers, exchange of the cloth-like wave loss material 12, etc. Furthermore, if a position of the cloth-like wave loss material 12 is made adjustable, delicate adjustment of wave absorption characteristic is possible and synthetic wave of unnecessary reflection wave can be reduced not exceeding a specified value. |
