<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate driving without a license, prevent burglary of vehicles, contrive efficient renewal of a license, and facilitate a car check on a road by incorporating a memory storing various kinds of data and a microcomputer provided with a distance integrating means and a driving recording means in a driving license. CONSTITUTION:A driving license, i.e., a card license 5, is formed by printing a portrait 2 and a license number 3 on the surface of a card body 1 and incorporating a memory and a microcomputer. The memory stores a name, a present address, and the like as the first data; the type of a license, an available period, and the like as the second data; suspension of a license or the like, i.e., whether a licensee is allowed to drive a car, as the third data; a history of violation of traffic regulations, an address change, and the like as the fourth data; and a numeric or other password as the fifth data. On the other hand, the microcomputer is provided with a distance integrating means for an accumulated running distance within an available period and a driving recording means for a maximum speed and the like. Devices 6, 7 separately actuated correspondingly to the card license 5 are installed in a vehicle 4 and a police station or the like, respectively.</p> |
