THREE-DIMENSIONAL ULTRASONIC WAVE IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To allow a simultaneous observation and palpation and storage for later invocation by having a dedicated software built-in a computer collecting two-dimensional ultrasonic images from a medical ultrasonic device and by re-structuring the collected data to obtain the three-dimensional images. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional image processor for the diagnosis of eyes, prostata and other organs includes an assembly body 5 consisting of a motor which rotates or scans a probe 1 for examination of organs of a human body, a driving device 13 and an ultrasonic probe and a computer 11 with a built-in software for the control of the movement of the assembly body which rotates and scans the probes. The ultrasonic signals from the probes are processed by a medical ultrasonic device 9 in order to generate multiple images of organs.
