PURPOSE:To provide the musical performance tempo input device and musical performance tempo control method which can perform delicate tempo control along the progression of a score as to a musical performance tempo input device and a musical performance tempo control method which suitably control an automatic musical performance tempo delicately in real time. CONSTITUTION:This input device has plural pads 11 to which different phonetic values are assigned in a fixed or programmable state and a means 12 which senses which pad is beaten when one of the pads is beaten. The musical performance tempo control method includes a process wherein one of the pads 11 is selected and a phonetic value is inputted together with musical performance operation time on the basis of a tap input, a process wherein the time length between the inputted musical performance operation time and past musical performance operation time is calculated, and a process wherein a tempo signal is controlled on the basis of the time length and phonetic values included therein. |
