PURPOSE:To dispense with a return spring and attain light weight in a rear wheel steering system. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering system is provided with a motor shaft 41; a first brushless motor Ml for rotating the motor shaft 41; a second brushless motor M2 for rotating the motor shaft 41; rear wheel steering mechanism 11 controlled by the rotation of the motor shaft 41; a first motor driver for driving the first brushless motor M1; a second motor driver for driving the second brushless motor M2; a magnetic pole sensor 18 which is a rotation sensor for detecting the rotation of the motor shaft 41; and a first microprocessor 1 which is a control means capable of controlling the first and second motor drivers simultaneously according to the output of the magnetic pole sensor 18.
