PURPOSE:To efficiently cut a drain material without stopping the excavating work of a shield excavator. CONSTITUTION:A water nozzle mounting boss 11 is arranged on the outside part of a cutter head provided on the front surface of a shield excavator 1. The injecting direction of a superhigh pressure jet water W from a water nozzle 12 mounted on the water nozzle mounting boss 11 is set to the effective cut distance L of a drain material 21. The water nozzle 12 is mounted toward the part nearly making contact with the section periphery of the shield excavator 1 when the shield excavator 1 is advanced.
