PURPOSE:To always obtain an intrinsic data value of an extracted object by calculating the ratio between the picture element data corresponding to each picture element and the mean value and using the value accordant with the ratio as the new data on each picture element. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a sample is observed by an image input device 1 where a CCD camera is attached to an optical microscope, and this observing result is stored in an input data memory 2. Then the input images are averaged for regeneration of a state including no interposition through a virtual background computing part 3. In other words, the mean value of (NXN) picture elements is calculated on the basis of a noted picture element as the averaged value of a certain image. This mean value is defined as the averaged picture element data on the noted picture element. Meanwhile the mean value is calculated with no use of the density of the relevant picture element at a part where the extracting subjects such as the interpositions, etc., are clearly recognized. Thus a mean value image consisting of a set of averaged picture element data is generated. Then the value is calculated and normalized between the picture element data on the mean value image and an original image for each picture element. |
