PURPOSE:To decrease the weight variation in a product dry ice and to improve the production yield by specifying the flow rate of gaseous CO2 passing through a gaseous CO2 outlet nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A liquefied carbon dioxide jetting nozzle and one to plural numbers of gaseous carbon dioxide jetting nozzles 3 arranged at an angle of 30-60 deg. to the vertical face of a dry ice forming chamber 1 are provided in the dry ice forming chamber 1. The liquefied carbon dioxide is jetted to the forming chamber 1 through the jetting nozzle, and while controlling the flow rate of the gas jetting from the nozzles 3 to 1-4m/sec, the formed snow like dry ice is press-formed by a pressing plate, and is discharged by taking out a bottom plate 5. |
