PURPOSE: To prevent the end edge of a rod basket of a dynamic sifter (turbo window sifter) on a downstream side from being drastically worn under collision load by the particles having sharp edges on the surfaces generated at the time of subjecting brittle charging stock, such as cement clinker, to an interparticle crushing between the roll gaps of a high-pressure press roll. CONSTITUTION: A fluidized bed pre-separation chamber 12 of a longitudinally hole form is arranged in the side part on the upstream side of the rod basket sifter 10. The upper part of the fluidized bed pre-separation chamber 12 is provided with a supply port 13 for the raw material 14 to be separated and the lower part thereof is provided with a discharge port 15 for separated coarse grain components 16 to form a pre-separation zone 17 between the two longitudinally hole partition walls which face each other and allow the passage of separating air 18. As a result, the coarse grain components 16 discharged from the shifter 10 are prevented from coming into contact with the moving parts of the shifter.
