PURPOSE:To simplify work such as the focusing or magnification adjustment of an optical system for displaying a stereoscopic picture on the screen of a monitor, to improve the workability and to reduce the diameter of an inserting part. CONSTITUTION:A pupil dividing prism 12 is interposed between an object optical system 4 at the tip part of an inserting part 1 and imaging devices 5 and 6, the stereoscopic picture is displayed by reproducing a picture on the video reproducing screen of the monitor based on respective right and left video signals sent from the imaging devices 5 and 6, a constitutive lens 7 of the object optical system 4 is provided with notched parts 15 and 16 orthogonally to a direction divided by the pupil dividing prism 12, and housing spaces 19 and 20 for other contents 17 and 18 to be built in the inserting part 1 are formed at these notched parts 15 and 16. |
