PURPOSE:To prevent a wrong character from being sent to an opposite FAX equipment when a user performs the deletion of a character pattern. CONSTITUTION:An image developing adapter 2 develops character data, reported at a request to send from a main body processor 1, into an image by using a previously downloaded character pattern. The developed image is transmitted as FAX data by a FAX communication control adapter 3. Further, when character data which are not downloaded are reported, the main body processor 1 is requested for a character pattern, which is obtained from a character storage library 1a and developed into an image. Here, when the user performs the generation, alteration, or deletion, etc., of character data to be sent, the main body processor 1 requests the image developing adapter 2 to delete the obtained character pattern and the image developing adapter 2 deletes the character pattern. |
