PURPOSE:To stabilize the alternate high-voltage power source current to be supplied to a static elimination electrode to the extent of not requiring cleaning inspection at all in the midway by building a constant current circuit into an alternate high-voltage power source device thereby making the alternate high- voltage power source current constant. CONSTITUTION:The static elimination electrode 65 for executing the static elemination of the charges (residual charges) given by electrostatic charge and transfer on a photosensitive drum 61 after the end of image transfer is provided to face the surface of the photosensitive drum 61. The static elimination electrode 65 eliminates the residual charges on the surface of the drum 61 and also eliminates the residual charges on the transfer paper 14 which is transported on a transporting belt 52 and is subjected to the transfer. Since the constant current device is adopted for the alternate high-voltage power source device 80, the constant current circuit operates without dropping the current value even if silicon oxide is stuck to an electrode wire 66 by the long- term discharge of the static elimination electrode 65 and, therefore, the current values flows steadily and the static elimination electrode is kept continued without degrading the prescribed static elemination effect. |
