PURPOSE:To estimate the correct printing life of a printer head unit by counting printing data of actual printing and estimating the life by the accumulated value of the counting. CONSTITUTION:A processor is provided with a printing letter counting unit 9, counting actually printed letters excluding blank letters and/or non-printing letters such as control letters and the like which are included in printing requesting data from a business processing unit 1, a printer head lifetime deciding unit 10, deciding the life of the printer head by the counted number of letters, and an alarm message outputting unit 11, effecting alarm outputting process. |
