<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cable extension apparatus wherein a power cable which supplies electric power to the inside of a shield pie is replenished easily and a long cable can be loaded. CONSTITUTION:A cable reel 20 is loaded, so as to be freely detachable, on a push car 13 which can be run freely toward a digging direction inside a shield pit in such a way that its rotary central axes 23a, 23b are directed toward the running direction of the push car, a rotary connection device 17 using a slip ring by which the end part on the rotary center side of a cable 16 wound on the cable reel 20 is connected electrically to the power taking-out side of a shield digging machine or the like is provided, and a power cable 26 on the cable reel 20 is pulled out so as to match the advance of the push car 13 from the outer circumferential side. In addition, another cable reel 20 on which power cables 26 have been wound in advance a prescribed length by a prescribed length is loaded newly on the push car 13.</p> |
