The waste water to be cleaned contains inorganic substances in at least a dissolved form and organic substances in dissolved, colloidal and/or suspended form. The water is evaporated in one or more stages during a first evapn. phase so that partly a cleaned first condensate (3), partly a first concentrate (4) contg. 3-20 % dry substance are obtd. At least one flocking medium (5) is added to the first concentrate to act on the suspended and/or colloidal substance. The flocked first concentrate is dewatered mechanically in one or more stages (6), so that partly a slurry (7) is obtd. which contains an essential portion of the suspended and/or colloidal substances in the waste water, and partly a clear phase (8). The clear phase is evaporated in one or more stages in a second evapn. phase (17), so that partly a second cleaned condensate (19) and partly a second concentrate (18) contg. 25-90 % dry substance are obtd. |
