PURPOSE:To make possible highly reliable and highly accurate diagnosis by tracking the drift of waveform detected from an object to be diagnosed, i.e., a rotating machine, and extracting features from the waveform. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 2 for detecting acoustic wave is loaded to an object to be diagnosed, i.e., a rotating machine 1, and the waveform of a detected signal is split at a signal splitting section 5 into a plurality of waveforms. Parameter values are then calculated at a parameter value calculating section 6 for the split waveforms and compared each other. Features are extracted from the waveforms at a waveform feature extracting section 7 and the features are evaluated at a decision section 8 thus deciding the conditions of the rotating machine 1. In order to analyze drift of waveform in detail, even a small singular point on the waveform is evaluated and diagnosed. |
