PURPOSE:To provide an automatic natural language translation system capable of outputting the compound source language sentences as single sentence by using expression patterns for which plural predicates are described. CONSTITUTION:In the case of translating sentences including the plural predicates, an expression parallel translation dictionary 7 for storing the expression patterns of an object language corresponding to the expression patterns composed of the predicates of the main clauses of the source language sentences, the case components of the main clauses and dependent clauses beforehand, an expression pattern conversion means for converting the expression patterns of the source language to the expression patterns of the object language by using the expression parallel translation dictionary 7 and a means for generating the sentences of the object language by using the expression patterns of the object language are added to a conversion means 3. |
