PURPOSE:To enable to select and switch the polarized wave used for transmission and reception independently, by providing the phase shift switch exclusively operated for transmission and reception. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter 1 and the receiver 2 are connected to the hybrid HYB3, the Y circulators 11 and 12 in which the internal transmission direction is set to X are connected between the terminal C of HYB3 and the input and output terminal 5, and the Y-type circular switches 21, 22, 31 and 32 which can select the internal transmission direction to X or Y direction between them. Further, when the electrical length of the terminals 21A, 21B, 31A and 31B of the switches 21 and 31 is set for the Y direction for the transmission direction of switch, the length of the termination short lines 23 and 33 is adjusted so that it is longer by 1/4 wave length to the transmission and reception waves in comparison with the Y direction. Thus, the switches 21 and 31 form the phase switch selectable respectively for 0 deg. or 90 deg.. Similarly, the phase switch is formed, selectable for 0 deg. or 180 deg. for the switches 22 and 32 by adjusting the length of the lines 24 and 34 to a given length. |
