CONSTITUTION:This machine plate mask forming device 2 has an input means 6 which inputs the graphic data formed by a graphic processor and the arrangement data thereof, a shape offset data forming means 7 which forms the shape offset data offsetting the shapes to an outer side in accordance with the inputted graphic data and a mask data forming means 12 which arranges the formed shape offset data in accordance with the inputted arrangement data and forms the mask data over the entire plate of the plate picture by calculating the shape data in the arranged state. This shape offset data forming means 7 extracts the graphic data necessary for forming the mask from the inputted graphic data, calculates the shape data from the extracted graphic data and forms the shape offset data offsetting the shape by a prescribed amt. to the outer side from the calculated shape data.
