<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a conductive coating compsn. which minimizes the tendency for curling, at the time of coating on a paper by forming the conductive coating compsn. contg. a specific di-quaternary ammonium compd. CONSTITUTION: The coating compsn., contg. the di-quaternary ammonium compd. expressed by the formula, is formed. In the formula, R1 is an alkyl group or alkylene group, having about 12 to 22 carbon atoms; R2 to R6 are independently selected from a group consisting of alkyl groups or aryl groups, having 1 to about 8 carbon atoms; (n) is a number from 1 to about 5; A is anion. The electrophotographic paper is typically composed of base paper coated with a dielectric coating layer and a conductive coating layer. The dielectric coating typically contains a resistive resin binder, pigments and additives, such as dispersants, lubricants, optical brighteners and plasticizers.</p> |
