PURPOSE:To maintain good cleaning performance over a long period by providing a specific scraping blade between a cleaning foam roller and a cleaning blade. CONSTITUTION:The scraping blade 12 is provided in contact with a photosensitive body 2 in the counter direction to it between the cleaning foam roller 7 and the cleaning blade 3 so as to exist on the downstream side of the cleaning foam roller 7. Untransferred toner 4 sent from the cleaning foam roller 7 deposits in a region B between the scraping blade 12 and the photosensitive body 2 in such a case, but the scraping blade 12 is thinner than the cleaning blade 3 and, therefore, the untransferred toner 4 is moved up from the front end of the scraping blade 12 in the upward direction along the surface of the scraping blade 12 by the rotating power of the photosensitive body 2 and the pressing force of the untransferred toners 4 successively sent thereto. The untransferred toner 4 is diluted by a developer sent via a diffusion plate 6 and is recovered via the cleaning foam roller 7 and a wringer roller 10. |
