<p>PURPOSE:To convert addresses at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A first sector address conversion part 104 converts sector addresses corresponding to cylinder numbers from a host and a second sector address conversion part 105 converts the sector addresses corresponding to head numbers from the host. The converted sector addresses and sector numbers from the host are added at an adder 106 and the added value is converted to a memory address at a memory address conversion part 107. In the case of masking with mask bits outputted from a block size masking part 108 based on masking enable signals from a microprocessor 1, a masking control part 109 sets the intra-block leading memory address of the reloading block of a memory part 108 at a memory address register and counter 7.
