Additional tap for shower

An additional tap for a shower comprises a body (1), a shutter in the form of a piston (3) mounted so that it can slide in a hole in the body (18) and an operating lever (2) mounted so that it can pivot on the body. A manual force exerted on the lever (2) and opposing the force of a spring (4) for returning the piston opens the tap. After releasing the lever, the spring pushes the piston in order to close the tap, and the lever comes into abutment against the body. The tap can be closed and opened and therefore the flow rate of water can be adjusted using just one hand which holds the shower head. <IMAGE>
