PURPOSE: To enable a worker to escape injury from various kinds of harmful electromagnetic waves, while receiving vitality and energy supplied form far- infrared rays which are beneficial to living bodies by radiating the far-infrared rays from a video display device incorporating a far-infrared ray radiating source. CONSTITUTION: At least one of far-infrared-ray radiating material, a far- infrared-ray radiating lamp, and a far-infrared-ray radiating device is incorporated in the exterior cabinet of a video display device, so that the display device radiates far-infrared rays. For containing the far-infrared-ray radiating material in the cabinet, 1-30 wt.% far-infrared-ray radiating material is added to a cabinet manufacturing material, before injection molding the cabinet or coating the surface of the cabinet with an adhesive or paint mixed with the far- infrared-ray radiating material. For containing the far-infrared-ray radiating lamp in the cabinet, far-infrared ray lamps 8 are incorporated in the front face 7 of the cabinet housing a CRT 6 of the conventional device. The temperatures of the lamps 8 are controlled to <90 deg.C by limiting the capacities of the lamp 8. |
