PURPOSE:To enable the riding of an automatic flaw detector easily over any step on a shell of a pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:Bearing blocks 10 and 11 are arranged at four corners of a rear 1 of a truck body 1 carrying a probe module 31 for detecting flaws of a weld joint in such a manner as to allow the rotating thereof over a range of about 90 deg. along the rear 1a thereof. A power transmission shaft 16 arranged parallel with the rear 1a of the truck body 1 is supported rotatably on the bearing blocks 10 and 11 and link plates 18 and 19 are fitted externally onto the power transmission shaft 16 in such a manner as to be rotatable with respect to the power transmission shaft 16. A wheel 27 is arranged at both ends longitudinal of the link plates 18 and 19 so as to be rotated with a gear 22 mounted on the power transmission shaft 16 through a gear 26. |
