PURPOSE:To quickly and exactly perform selection from plural choices displayed on a screen by few cursor operations. CONSTITUTION:The function selection system of a processor 10 is for selecting a desired processing item by indicating the display area of the choice displayed at a display device 7 with a mouse 1. A first processing item group composed of the plural choices is displayed at the display device 7 and also a second processing item group composed of the respective choices which are made correspond to the plural buttons of the mouse 1 is simultaneously displayed for the respective choices of the first processing item group. A first processing item is selected from the first processing item group using a first selection means 3 by the movement of the mouse 1, a second processing item is selected from the second processing item group using a second processing selection means 4 by the push button of the mouse 1 and then, the selection of the first processing item and the second processing item is established. |
