PURPOSE: To provide an electric connector, which is a single connector comprising a signal contact and an electric power supply contact, suitable for power transmission. CONSTITUTION: This electric connector 1 comprises a large number of signal contacts 4, 5 installed in both sides of an insulating and separating wall 7 of an insulating housing 2 and at least one electric power supply contact 6 having a pair of contact finger parts 9 installed in both sides of the insulating and separating wall 7. The contact finger parts 9 have sufficiently wide surface areas to radiate heat generated by electric power loss. |
