PURPOSE:To prevent the alignment of the positions of an original and a transfer material from being varied when the original and the transfer material are aligned in an image forming device provided with an image reader moving and reading the original. CONSTITUTION:First and second shutter plates 3 and 8 are provided on a carrying path 23. Then, the inserting position of the original 20 is regulated by the first shutter plate 3 and the plate 3 is opened next. Then, the original 20 is fed by original feeding rollers 6 and 7 and made to stand by at the second shutter plate 8. On the other hand, the transfer paper supplied on the image forming device side is detected by a transfer material sensor before a resist roller. Then, the roller 6 is rotated immediately after the resist roller has been rotated and the roller 9 is also rotated. Immediately thereafter, the second shutter plate 8 is opened. Thus, the positions of the original and the transfer material can be precisely aligned. |
