PURPOSE:To surely brake a motor by a method wherein, when the motor is stopped, a circuit is constituted in such a way that only a semiconductor switching element on the side of the negative electrode of a power conversion part is operated by the pulse output of an oscillation circuit. CONSTITUTION:A motor-braking device is constituted by adding a DC-DC converter 9 and an oscillation circuit 11 to a motordriving gear, and a power supply 3 for morot-driving receives a direct current from an AC power supply 13 such as a commercial power supply or the like and supplies it to a power drive circuit 5. In the power drive circuit 5, a series circuit of semiconductor switching elements is connected and arranged for every phase between the positive- electrode side and the negativeelectrode side of the power-supply circuit 3 for motor-driving, a PWM pulse is formed on the basis of a U-phase current instruction Su, a V-phase current instruction Sv and a W-phase current instruction Sw which are input from the outside, and the individual semiconductor switching elements are controlled so as to be turned on and off. As a result, regenerative energy is consumed by turning on and off the semiconductor switching elements when a motor is stopped, and the motor can be braked reliably. |
