PURPOSE:To decide a navigation route in a manner of avoiding a traffic jam by displaying received traffic information at the present time and traffic information which is formerly received and stored on a screen. CONSTITUTION:A user starts this equipment and selects an operation mode with an key input device 13, which outputs a signal to CPU 1 in accordance with the operation. An FM multiplex data code 6 decodes data overridden on the band of FM broadcasting to send it to CPU 1 and CPU 1 lets a RAM 3 store the data. Then, whether traffic information data is stored in the RAM 3 or not is judged. When traffic information data is not stored, the screen displays the absence of traffic information data and when it is stored in the RAM 3, the screen displays traffic information so as to set traffic information to be stored by a cursor. Traffic information at the present time and the same formerly received and stored are displayed on the screen in this way. |
